Tensor-based Parameter Estimation of FDA-MIMO Radar with Mutual Coupling
In practice, the performance of Frequency Diverse Array Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (FDA-MIMO) radar is affected by mutual coupling. In this paper, a tensor-based approach for parameter estimation in the FDA-MIMO radar system with mutual coupling is proposed to address the issue. Firstly, the tensor-based model is established. Then, the Parallel Factor (PARAFAC) decomposition is used to obtain the steering matrix. The decoupling operation is performed using the Toeplitz matrix, and the phase properties of the steering matrix are used to estimate angle and range information. Simulations have validated the superiority and efficacy of the proposed approach.
