A Highly Sensitive Low Reflective Index Waveguide Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor

This study proposes a high sensitivity waveguide surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor for low refractive index (RI) sensing. By using waveguide with the core RI of 1.38 and cladding RI of 1.374, its sensitivity reaches 11800 nm/RIU for detected RI from 1.33-1.35.
