Research on Power Quality Management and Energy Optimization of RPC Based on Photovoltaics and Energy Storage

To achieve negative sequence control and enhance the utilization rate of regenerative braking energy, a topological structure of the railway power regulator (RPC) with optical storage access is presented. The interaction mechanism of the energy-storage and Train-network Coupling System is investigated, and a small-signal model of its topology is constructed. By employing hierarchical control in combination with an instantaneous phase identification detection method for power quality compensation, the coordination between the converter and the energy storage device is strengthened, leading to improved three-phase current symmetry and enhanced negative sequence performance. Finally, the compensation performance of the system is verified and analyzed. The results show that the proposed hierarchical control method can realize the recycling and negative sequence control of regenerative braking energy within the capacity range of the system equipment.
