Target location algorithm based on FMCW radar signal feature extraction and PCA
Non-contact vital sign measurement based on FMCW radar is a research hotspot. In order to solve the problem of inaccurate selection of range bin and jump phenomenon in target location, a target location algorithm based on signal feature extraction and PCA is proposed in this paper. Firstly, select the range of distance unit where the target may be located based on the signal features. Secondly, use PCA algorithm to extract the appropriate principal components from the vital signs sample matrix, and construct the sample center and confidence interval. Finally, the optimal phase signal in the range is selected according to the reference sample and the minimum distance criterion, and it corresponds to the range bin where the target is located. After the target position and the optimal phase signal are obtained by the algorithm, the breathing and heartbeat signals is seperated by VMD algorithm and reconstructed. The experimental results show that the algorithm can accurately extract the range bin of the resting target, and has a good tracking effect on the location of the displaced target, so as to ensure the accurate measurement of subsequent vital signs.
