Multi-Objective Optimization Design of Fiber Optic Micro Cable Coil’s Structure
In this paper, the structure of the fiber optic micro cable (FOMC) coil was taken as the research object. In order to optimize the structure size and effectively balance the contradiction between the volume of the fiber optic package and the number of winding layers for fiber optic, a parametric model of the FOMC coil was established, with initial values of determined for design variables, as well as objective functions and constraint conditions. Through this process, an optimal mathematical model for the structure of the FOMC coil was obtained. By utilizing enumeration method and NSGA-II algorithm, a set of Pareto optimal solutions for the structure of the FOMC coil was obtained. This method can be applied to multi-objective optimization of coil structures and provides practical engineering significance by offering reference for optimizing similar coil structures.
