The Simulation Technology of Power Line Morphology in Distribution Network Driven by 3D Point Cloud and Its Application Under Different Operating Conditions
With the rapid development of smart grid technology, there is an increasing demand for real-time monitoring and maintenance of power lines. We have designed a power line shape simulation technology based on 3D point cloud data to accurately simulate the dynamic response of distribution network power lines under different environmental conditions. Through advanced point cloud data preprocessing and geometric feature extraction techniques, this study is able to effectively reconstruct the 3D curvilinear structure of power lines and construct corresponding mechanical models to simulate their physical behaviors under specific working conditions. Multi-scale neighborhood analysis and adaptive radius selection method are also adopted in the study to improve the accuracy and practicality of the model. In the temperature change experiments, the errors between the simulated and actual data were 0% (20°C), 5% (40°C) and 10% (-10°C), respectively. In the wind speed stress test, the errors were 5% and 10% for strong and brisk wind conditions, respectively. The errors in icing conditions were 5% and 10% for moderate and heavy icing conditions, respectively. From the conclusion of the data, it is seen that the power line morphology simulation technique based on 3D point cloud data can effectively predict the deformation and stress state of power lines under different working conditions, which verifies its reliability in practical application.
