Distributed RF Frequency Transfer with Fixed Phase in Reciprocal Media
To enhance the coherence and efficiency of distributed radars, we propose a method of distributed RF frequency transfer with fixed phase in reciprocal media. Based on the reciprocal media, each radar unit receives a forward frequency signal from the source and a reverse signal reflected back to eliminate delay and keep the frequency the same as the source, ensuring that the phase of the frequency standard across the radar units remains consistent. A mathematical model has been developed, and an error analysis addressing amplitude and phase imbalances has been conducted. To validate the accuracy of this method, the system was simulated using a 10-meter coaxial cable, demonstrating its robustness and effectiveness in practical scenarios.
