SVM Parametric Feedback Control of Chaotic Motion in Gear Systems Containing Slight Pitting Corrosion
Taking the traction gear system of the $\mathbf{H X D}_{2}$ locomotive as the research object, the dynamics model of a single-degree-of-freedom gear system in the case of a slight pitting corrosion was established. The dynamic response of the system with the change of parameter $\xi$ was numerically calculated, and the parameter analysis criterion of chaotic motion is summarised. An intelligent optimal control strategy for the chaotic motion of the single-degree-of-freedom gear transmission system was proposed: the control performance index function was constructed, the chaotic controller was designed based on SVM, the SMA algorithm was applied to search for the relative optimal parameters of the controller, and the chaotic motion was controlled into a periodical motion by using the small perturbation of the controller output to be applied to $\xi$. Simulation results show that the system can quickly search and stabilize to the expected periodic orbit under the action of the SVM chaotic controller optimized by the SMA algorithm.
