Dense False Target Jamming Suppression based on Time-domain Collaborative Waveform Design
Dense false target jamming with a fixed delay for each pulse (DFTJ-FDEP) poses a significant threat to radar systems by overwhelming them with false targets that mimic the characteristics of real targets in the pulse compression domain, thereby impairing their detection and tracking capabilities. To address this challenge, a time-domain collaborative waveform design method is proposed in this paper. By designing a cover signal with the same transmission direction as the detection signal, and optimizing its emission timing and pulse width, the method increases the characteristic differences between false and real targets in the pulse compression domain. Additionally, by incorporating the Kittler joint information entropy-based dense false target jamming suppression algorithm, this method effectively suppresses DFTJ-FDEP. The effectiveness of this approach is validated through simulations.
