Carbon Footprint Comparison of Photovoltaic Industries in China EU and US
Photovoltaic ($\mathbf{P V}$) industry is experiencing rapid development amidst the surge in global renewable energy demand. However, the production process of PV products emits significant carbon, raising concerns about the industry’s environmental impact. This paper analyzes the current situation of the PV industry in China, the US, and the EU, aiming to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the carbon emissions of the PV industry. The differences and commonalities in carbon emissions from the PV industry in different regions are revealed through detailed comparison and analysis of their carbon emission data during the production process. In addition, the research results of this paper also illustrate the advantages and challenges brought by promoting the low-carbon and green transformation of the photovoltaic industry.
