Research on Cable Fault Detection and Localization Method Using Impedance Spectroscopy
Cables are critical power transmission equipment, but after prolonged use, they are prone to damage, aging, and other malfunctions. At present, detecting and locating cable fault points is a technical difficulty in the field. This article focuses on this issue and studies the method of detecting and locating cable fault points based on impedance spectroscopy. The theoretical basis of this method was explained, and the relationship between impedance spectrum changes and cable faults was analyzed. And the effectiveness of the method in the article was demonstrated through three simulation cases. The actual test results showed that the method in this paper was effective.
