Rola Kościoła (i jego relacji z państwem) w budowaniu kapitału społecznego

The author of the article, attempts to indicate the role of the Church as an institution and actor in building social capital. The object of study is the Church activities in the creation and support of social norms, the creation and development of interpersonal bonds and cooperation, and the building of trust and solidarity. Particular attention has been paid in this regard to the practical dimension of the Church activities, taking into account its relations with the state in the area of social and public life within the educational, charitable and mediation spheres.
