Biological Evaluation and Physiochemical Estimation of Topical Drug Delivery System Using Machine Learning Comprising Curcumin and Alpha-Tocopherol

The present work aimed to formulate a Topical Drug Delivery System comprising curcumin and alphatocopherol. Different concentrations of curcumin and alphatocopherol were selected for synthesis of cream. Physiochemical estimation was performed to monitor stability and in-vitro toxicological evaluation was performed on normal epithelial cells (HEK-293 cell line). The formulation depicted no sign of cellular toxicity in MTT exclusion assay and was found to be safe for further biomedical application. These results were further confirmed by performing live dead staining by using Acridine orange, Ethidium Bromides staining, where no cellular damage was recognized. A stable formulation of cream was prepared with appropriate concentration of curcumin and alpha-tocopherol. Toxicity studies were carried out which assure the cream safe for various biochemical application.
