VolunteerMatch merges with volunteer engagement group Idealist

VolunteerMatch, a leading volunteer engagement network, has announced a merger with Idealist, a similarly‐focused nonprofit that connects individuals with volunteer service activities. The two groups expect the combined organization will better enable them to empower people to take action for social good by expanding opportunities for individuals and organizations to make a difference in their communities.
