RegiLaneNet: Advanced Lane Detection through Regularization
To make driverless cars and helper systems for drivers better, it's super important to be able to spot the lanes on the road really well. This means guessing where the lanes are going to be in all kinds of different places and weather. Sure, deep learning models have gotten way smarter, but it's still super tricky to mix together the big picture of what's happening on the road with the teeny-tiny details you need to figure out exactly where the lanes are. We made this cool new deep learning model called RegiLaneNet that's really good at spotting lanes. It uses a special rule to make fewer mistakes and looks at info in a smart way. This helps it understand pictures better because it pays attention to the shapes and sizes of things. When we tested it on some tricky lane-spotting problems, it scored 79.72% on one test and an even cooler 86.35% on another. This shows it's awesome at handling different kinds of roads.
