Design and Analysis of a Material Handling System Based on Industrial Robot

This paper presents a detailed design of a material handling system based on industrial robots. The system, comprising key components such as industrial robots, conveyor belts, touch screens, vision systems, placement tables, and material storage systems, constructs a comprehensive and efficient automated material handling and transmission system, achieving automated and intelligent material handling and transmission. The various components of the material handling system described in this paper can work together to achieve fast and accurate material handling and transmission. Among them, industrial robots are responsible for material picking and placing, conveyor belts are used for material transportation, touch screens provide an intuitive human-machine interface, vision systems enable precise material recognition and positioning, placement tables are used for temporary storage of workpieces and materials, and the material storage system is responsible for temporary material storage. Experimental verification demonstrates that this system exhibits significant advantages in improving material handling efficiency and reducing labor costs, providing strong support for enterprises to achieve production automation.
