Establishing a Color Harmony Evaluation Model for Clothing Color Matching Based on Semi-Supervised Learning
The study conducted a psychophysical experiment to understand modern people’s perceptions of color harmony in clothing color combinations. The results indicate that modern people’s perceptions of color harmony in clothing differ significantly from previous color harmony theories. A color harmony evaluation model that aligns with contemporary aesthetic preferences is developed by combining subjective evaluations from the experiment with a semi-supervised learning (SSL) approach based on a large, unified fashion dataset. The model can be applied to color design in the fashion and clothing industry.
