Design and Analysis of an Underwater Cleaning Robot
Aiming at the limitations of existing underwater cleaning robots in terms of cleaning efficiency, motion stability, and adaptability, a new type of underwater cleaning robot was designed. Firstly, the model and structure of the robot were determined. Then, numerical simulations and analysis of the critical climbing state of the robot in the flow field were conducted to study its fluid dynamics and mechanical properties in the critical climbing state. The analysis showed that the robot has high stability and low resistance with good adsorption ability when moving underwater. Finally, the industrial virtual simulation to simulate wall climbing process was conducted through the Unity 3D engine platform. The simulation results showed that the design of the robot is reliable, which lays an important foundation for future practical applications.
