Optimal Power Flow using Northern Goshawk Optimization in Power System Network
This paper represents an effective and potent evolutionary based technique for the solution of Optimal power flow issues. To determine the ideal settings for the OPF problem control variables, the suggested method utilizes the swarm-based Northern Goshawk Optimization (NGO) strategy. The assumption implemented on the designed objective functions is greatly relieved when the NGO method is utilized for the solution of OPF problem. The NGO swarm-based algorithm has been demonstrated to stimulate hawk activity during prey-hunting. The two phases of hunting are identification and chasing. The suggested method has been investigated and evaluated using several objective functions that represent reducing fuel costs, enhancing voltage profiles, and enhancing voltage stability using the standard IEEE 30 bus-test system. The suggested methodology's outcomes have been contrasted with those of various algorithms. The outcome assures and demonstrates the potency and resilience of the suggested strategy.
