Development of Wireless Inductive Power Transfer Converter with Variable Load

This paper demonstrates the sending of power from input side to output side by the method of Wireless Inductive Power Transfer (WIPT). A variable load is used to analyse the efficiency of the device. Also the decrease of induced voltage with the increase in distance between primary and secondary is studied. This technique has a high potential in electric vehicle charging. The power is transferred after converting to high frequency through a HF converter circuit. The efficiency highly depends on the converter circuit. With the increase in load the efficiency is increased till optimal level. With the increase in load, the developed voltage will be reduced till certain level after which there is no induced potential in secondary coil.
