Stabilizing High-Energy Solid-State Laser Conversion with Precision Temperature Control
Nonlinear optics is a significant and challenging branch of modern optics that focuses on studying the nonlinear responses of materials under intense light illumination. By achieving phase matching conditions, phenomena such as sum frequency generation, second harmonic generation, and difference frequency generation can be realized. In solid-state lasers, phase matching conditions can be achieved by adjusting the cut angle of the nonlinear crystal and controlling the temperature. This paper aims to utilize a custom-made temperature control system to stabilize the nonlinear conversion during high-power solid-state laser excitation, achieving high power, long duration, and high stability.
