Frequency dependent load modelling based on Opposition-based differential evolution optimization
The deviation in frequency plays a significant role in altering the parameters of frequency-dependent load models. Thus, it is imperative to keep an eye on how the frequency-dependent load model behaves. In this manuscript, the novel work of frequency-dependent ZIP load modeling and frequency-dependent exponential load modeling is done using a measurement-based approach based on opposition-based differential evolution optimization (OBDEO) as a parameter tuning algorithm. The true measurements are taken by collecting the voltage, power, and deviation in frequency data from the terminals of the load bus of the NE-39 test system. The true readings of voltage and power are infused with Gaussian noise. These true noisy measurements are compared with the modeled output, with the help of which, parameters of load models and plots of powers are generated. The OBDEO technique works on jumping from a solution to the opposite of the present solution. It is beneficial to avoid the local minima. The OBDEO works superbly to carry out the results and reach the optimum results.
