Analysis of Short Circuit Characteristics Between Windings of Dry-Type Air-Core Shunt Reactor
Dry-type air-core shunt reactor is an important equipment for reactive power compensation in power grid. In view of the lack of effective monitoring means for its winding short-circuit fault, this paper establishes a simulation model of dry-type air-core shunt reactor through finite element analysis software to analyze the influence of winding short-circuit fault on the reactor. On the basis of verifying the reliability of the model, the short circuit between the same turn and the short circuit between different turns are set at different positions in different layers of the reactor winding, and the influence of the short circuit between the turns on the electrical parameters of the dry-type air-core shunt reactor is obtained. The results show that the influence of short circuit between different turns on the change rate of electrical parameters of dry-type air-core shunt reactor is greater than that of short circuit between the same turns. The short circuit between different turns can be judged by the change of equivalent resistance, power factor and active power loss.
