Research on Active Defense Technology for Transformers Based on Dissolved Gas Analysis in Oil and Partial Discharge Detection
Transformers, as core equipment in power systems, have their operational reliability directly related to the safety and stability of the entire power grid. Partial Discharge (PD) and Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) in oil are crucial means for assessing transformer insulation status and predicting potential faults. This paper reviews the research status of active defense technologies for transformers based on Dissolved Gas Analysis in oil and Partial Discharge detection. It analyzes the technical principles, monitoring methods, application examples, and future development directions of these technologies. By integrating Dissolved Gas Analysis in oil and Partial Discharge monitoring technologies, a design scheme for an active defense system for transformers is proposed. This system aims to achieve early warning and active defense against transformer faults, thereby enhancing the safety and reliability of the power grid.
