Atmospheric Refraction Error Correction based on Iterative Integral for Low Latitudes
Due to the layered surface and non-uniform horizontal characteristics of the actual atmosphere, the radar wave propagation in the atmosphere is easy to cause the curvature of the radio wave trajectory and the change of the radio wave propagation speed, which seriously affects the detection and positioning performance of each radio system. Aiming at the meteorological characteristics of low-dimensional areas and the timeliness requirements of correction in practical applications, the calculation formula of atmospheric refractive index was improved for the southern sea area, and a fast correction method of atmospheric refraction error based on iterative integral was proposed. The altitude error was converted to the distance for iterative correction, and then the approximate optimal solution was quickly and accurately found. The feasibility of the proposed method is verified.
