Design and Simulation of an All-Weather Water Extraction Device
Focusing on the constraints of present desalination method with high energy consumption, large spatial requirement and time limitations, an intelligent water extraction device is designed which flexibly adapt to various weather conditions with low-energy consumption, combining solar seawater desalination module, biomimetic fog collection module and sky radiation cooling water harvesting module to respond different weather condition making the efficiency to next level. Fluent software is used for engineering simulation and design, providing effective assistance in material selection and efficiency estimation which are basically consistent with the experiment results of each modules. According to the simulation and experiment, the annual water production per square meter in Tianjin can meet the drinking water needs of 4 adults for one year which is much better than traditional methods' performance.
