The Influence of Vertical Interference Source on Electromagnetic Scattering Characteristics of X-band Cylinder
Multiple radiation sources irradiate the target in a complex electromagnetic environment, and its electromagnetic scattering characteristics are complicated. The electromagnetic scattering characteristics of objects are usually studied for the attributes of a single incident wave, and the influence of interference sources on the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of objects is rarely considered. Considering the interference source, the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of metal cylinders are studied from the angle and phase difference of the electromagnetic wave radiated by radar and interference source. The influence of the phase of the X-band interference source on the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the target is calculated and obtained when the interference source is incident perpendicular to the side of the cylinder. The variation of the surface scattering characteristics in the vertical side direction of the cylinder is considered when the interference source is incident perpendicular to the top surface. The calculation results show that the forward scattering characteristics of the cylinder are apparent when the interference source irradiates the vertical side or the bottom side. It has little influence on the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the cylinder side vertical plane and other directions without interference. The phase of the electromagnetic wave of the interference source and the radar radiation source also has a weak influence on the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the target.
