CampusConnect: Implementing A Centralized College Application System using Web Technologies and XAMPP

In India after graduating from school students apply to different colleges to study their desired course in a university of their choice. For admission in these universities, apart from sending applications, some universities and colleges also require students to pass their entrance exams. While dealing with the pressure of these exams' students find it stressful to manage multiple applications for different universities. CampusConnect, a prototype web application emerges as a solution to this problem. On this centralized platform students can login and submit multiple applications to various universities, streamlining the application process and reducing administrative stress on students. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to understand the requirements for the web applications as well as to decide which technologies to use for the development. The scope of the application needs to be extended to cater to the representatives from colleges and universities, and more features can be added to make it a fully functional application. However, this platform requires the support from the government and various universities and colleges across the country to make it a success.
