Precise Medical Flashlamp Lighting through FPGA-Based Control Systems
Flashlamps generate high-intensity light pulses, which are widely used in medical procedures such as dry eye syndrome and skin treatment. This paper provides a detailed exploration of the fundamental principles of flashlamp technology and its role in these medical applications, emphasizing its contributions to improving therapeutic outcomes and patient comfort. Additionally, this paper discusses advanced control systems developed using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), which significantly enhance the precision and reliability of flashlamp operations. The aim of this paper is to provide a comprehensive overview of flashlamp technology and its applications in dry eye and skin treatments and to analyze the potential advantages of FPGAbased control systems in this field.
