Energy Management Systems In Hybrid Renewable Energy Sources
The rapid growth of electric power has led to an increase in the generation and integration of renewable energy into grids. Integration can affect the security and stability of power systems due to their complexity. An optimal control approach is needed to ensure efficiency, reliability and quality. The employment of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (HRES) may address this dilemma by integrating diverse renewable energy sources within a singular framework to enhance mutual support. Incorporating high renewable energy sources aids in stabilizing the supply and demand of energy while also slowly mitigating the downsides of energy generation; nevertheless, combining various energy sources with energy storage systems (ESS) adds complexity to energy administration. This work explores various architectures of hybrid sources like solar wind hydro. The evaluation examines how energy management systems can enhance stability, reliability, and resilience of HRES, while also reducing operational cost and achieving economic goals.
