Serverless Cloud Computing: Navigating Challenges and Exploring Future Opportunities
Serverless cloud computing stands out for its remarkable benefits, including cost reduction, scalability enhancement, and increased efficiency. This paper provides an in-depth analysis of significant shortcomings in serverless cloud computing, such as cold start latency, vendor lock-in, and the general lack of control over the cloud environment. This research introduces innovative approaches to address the major pitfalls of serverless cloud computing. Advanced machine learning-based optimization algorithms are proposed to predict and pre-warm functions, by significantly reducing latency. Additionally, a comprehensive AI-driven security framework is developed that continuously monitors for anomalies, providing robust protection and ensuring data integrity. This approach ensures low-latency processing and improved real-time performance by combining serverless architecture with edge computing. Overall, it serves as a roadmap for the future of serverless cloud computing, highlighting the pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape and setting new standards for the industry.
