Implementation of Socket-based Industrial Hybrid Communication System
In industrial automation scenarios, communication mostly relies on serial communication, such as RS-485 and other common standards. The traditional communication method usually adopts the active communication mode, although this method can realize stable communication between devices, but due to the limitations of the polling period and device response, it may result in the device status not being discovered in time, thus affecting the real-time and response speed of the system. To address this problem, this paper adds an active reporting mechanism on the basis of the original polling communication, so that the device can actively report important information when it detects abnormal data. Through testing and verification, the method significantly improves the timeliness of equipment status, reduces the risk of delayed detection of status changes, has a wide range of application prospects and good universality, and can provide a more efficient solution for the management of industrial field equipment.
