Detection and prevalence of cognitive impairment and degree of functionality in older adults C.M.F Casa Blanca, 2023-2024

The objective of this project is to evaluate the degree of functionality in older adult patients with cognitive impairment using the Lawton and Browdy instrumented daily activities scale. A person's functionality can be influenced by a variety of environmental factors, which can facilitate or hinder their ability to carry out daily activities (Rojas Benavides, A. (2011). The Lawton and Browdy instrument has been applied to a sample of 91 older adult patients from the Casa Blanca Family Medical Clinic (CMF). Once the instrument was applied, the information was processed and the results of the study sample were obtained.
