K.G.JUNG: SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE ARCHETYPE OF THE SELF AS THE BASIS OF SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS (TO THE QUESTION OF THE ROLE OF PSYCHOANALYTIC KNOWLEDGE IN THE PRACTICAL ACTIVITY OF A SOCIAL WORK SPECIALIST)
This work is focused on the conscious illumination of the facets of the essence of the archetype of the Self, which allows us to come closer to the realization of the mental integrity of a person. The highlighted research focus is placed simultaneously in two scientific areas: 1) philosophy (this refers to philosophical reflection aimed at revealing the mystery of human nature, one of its fundamental meanings, hidden deep in the unconscious (both individual and collective, which, in turn, affects the individual)) 2) social work (this refers to the practical activity of well-versed social work professionals based on philosophical and psychoanalytic principles, in particular with people who are in a state of depression; one of the greatest difficulties in such activity is motivating a person to change and actualizing the internal potential (internal resources) of the person). The symbolic nature of the contents of the collective unconscious determines the relevance of their further analysis, which is intensified in boundary situations that exacerbate the influence of archetypes on individuals and society. From this perspective, the purpose of this study is defined, which is to clarify the essence of the content of the archetype of the Self as the center of man, the basis of self-consciousness. In the course of this study, certain secrets hidden in the content of the central archetype of the Self, the essence of which simultaneously contains the conscious and unconscious, were revealed. In view of the contradictory nature of the studied archetype, the work has revealed that with the developed critical thinking of a person, the Self is realized as the spiritual center of the I-personality, I-consciousness, and otherwise leads to the inflation of the I. In this regard, the symbol of the four used by C. G. Jung to reflect the essence of the Self becomes obvious. In its turn, as the center of the whole, the Self is the starting point of balance, which has an impact on human life. From this point of view, it should be noted that in the professional activity of a social work specialist, it is important to direct a person to realize the need to acquire the integrity potentially present in him or her. In the future, this study will serve as a basis for understanding the structure and dynamics of the Self, which will contribute to both the development of philosophical reflection and the achievement of effective social work results.
