THEME PARKS AS A BASIS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE TOURISM IN THE REGIONS

The article considers the features of creative tourism as a modern direction of activation of activities in the field of domestic tourism development. Special attention is paid to the study of the role of theme parks in the formation of new destinations and tourist attraction centers, especially when using creative industries and modern technologies. Examples of well-known theme parks and creative spaces are given both in some cities of the world and in different regions of the Russian Federation. Using the example of the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation, the economic indicators of the development of theme parks and their role in the development of domestic tourism are presented.
