Modelagem de Plantas Baixas e Inovações Civis-Arquitetônicas 3D: Pensamento Computacional e Formação em Matemática

This research aims to identify and analyze the observable characteristics in the development of floor plans and the modeling of 3D architectural houses by high school students in the context of Mathematics Education. The study was conducted in the innovation laboratory of IF-Goiano, with the participation of high school students. The data were qualitatively analyzed through the triangulation of data from different sources, including videos, observations, interviews, and computational tools, from the theoretical perspective of Computational Thinking. The results demonstrate the relevance of the development of architectural projections in two categories: Mathematical Skills and Communicative-Creative Engagement. These two categories highlight a process permeated by dimensions grounded in originality, problem-solving, (de)composition, curiosity-invention, and connections between mathematical knowledge applied to engineering and architecture. These aspects underscore the importance of integrating mathematics with architectural-civil practice in the high school context in a problematized, current, and active manner.
