Designing and Simulation of a 3MW Solar PV System Connected to a Grid
As the world increasingly turns towards sustainable energy solutions, conventional energy generation can be done through coal, water turbines, and fossil fuels, which may lead to the production of CO2, pollution, and may affect the climate. In contrast, the utilization of solar energy does not affect the environment. The key objective of this research work is to provide a stable electricity source to the grid, enhancing the overall power supply. This PV system connects to the grid with the help of an inverter, which converts the generated DC power to AC power used to charge electrical appliances. This project involves the simulation of 3MW solar PV connected to a grid and performance analysis. By simulating various operational scenarios, the project aims to demonstrate how solar systems can improve energy reliability, reduce dependency on conventional power sources, and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable energy grid. Simulation results show that the system can operate steadily in a variety of environmental settings and provide reliable power delivery.
