Designing of Electrical Vehicle Using Simulink
This research focuses on the design and simulation of an electric vehicle using MATLAB/Simulink R2021a. The proposed design incorporates a battery pack consisting of 75V cells, a permanent magnet DC motor with a rated speed of 120 RPM, and a three-mode gear system for optimizing speed and efficiency. The simulation aims to address critical challenges facing electric vehicles, such as battery range anxiety, battery heating issues, and the high cost of battery packs. By optimizing the design parameters and exploring different control strategies, this research contributes to the advancement of electric vehicle technology and promotes sustainable transportation solutions.
