A Comprehensive Survey on Strategies for Enhancing Cloud Security and Data Protection
In this survey paper, the critical security and privacy issues in cloud computing are taken into consideration, and made use of improving data security measures and confidences concerning sensitive information against potential threats from both outside attackers and cloud providers toward bracing the serious barriers to the widespread adoption of cloud technology. It applies ontological approaches toward an overall security assurance model with the help of ontology-based approaches to facilitate improved data protection along with compliance verification. The key advantages of the new security protocols and methodologies developed under this proposed framework allow customers to maintain control over their information and to validly verify safety measures. This framework will address one of the fastest growing needs for improving data security in the cloud, encouraging further trust and facilitating wider acceptance of cloud services. This survey provides a comprehensive analysis of the current ontologybased security solutions, summarizing their strengths and weaknesses and then advocating for a sophisticated security framework that would guarantee data protection in cloud environments. In fact, previous research has shown that different security risks exist in the cloud computing environment that can originate from various entities and activities. Therefore, different solutions have been created to tackle each of these unique concerns. The virtual machines of the clients should there-fore be effectively monitored and guarded by cloud providers through the use of a standardized cloud security platform.
