Audio-Visual Synchronization System (AVSS)
Achieving precise lip-synchronization in talking face videos remains a significant challenge, particularly when addressing the variability of identities and dynamic, unconstrained scenarios. In many cases, existing models fail to produce the required synchronization, resulting in lip movements that do not align with the intended activity. To address these limitations, this work proposes the development of a novel model specifically designed to tackle these challenges. By introducing a powerful lip-sync discriminator and newly proposed evaluation benchmarks, the system aims to deliver next-level lip-sync quality in uncontrolled video settings. This research study illustrates how the proposed system can narrow the gap between the capabilities of current models and the demands of practical lip-synchronization tasks by investigating lip movements across a wide range of identities. The work provides a substantial contribution to the field, offering potential solutions to persistent problems in lip-synchronization across diverse video contexts. As advancements in this domain continue to evolve, this system represents a significant step forward, paving the way for more seamless and realistic audio-visual experiences.
