COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE STRESS-STRAIN STATE OF A BUILDING ON FROZEN AND NON-FROZEN SOILS

Calculation of a building on perennially frozen ground bases taking into account cryogenic processes is a task of increased complexity that currently has no general and strict solution. The complexity and peculiarity of calculating the stress-strain state of a structure located on a soil massif of different conditions is that it requires a certain stock of various algorithms modeling different factors of the real physical process to be able to choose the most appropriate option. Most of the mechanical problems on the study of the state of foundations of structures in the permafrost zone are devoted to the study of the stress-strain state of soils, where the boundary of the interface between the thawed and frozen zones is defined. Within each of these zones it is assumed that mechanical properties of soils remain unchanged. Settlement of the foundations of buildings and structures erected on frozen soils develops due to changes in soil characteristics caused by temperature conditions and is often uneven. This leads to damage to structures. In this work the research was carried out in the Lira-Sapr program calculation complex on the influence of foundation deformations and foundation settlements on the stress-strain state of the above-ground part of the building. The calculation of the frame elements in temperate latitudes and in permafrost conditions was carried out. A comparative analysis of the interaction of the system "base - foundation - building" on soils of different conditions has been carried out on the basis of the obtained results.
