THE FIRST REGULATORY LEGAL ACTS IN THE FIELD OF «NORTHERN» GUARANTEES AND COMPENSATIONS FOR FIREFIGHTERS IN RUSSIA
The first Soviet normative legal acts in the field of «northern» guarantees and compensations for employees of fire organizations are considered. It is noted that for the first time social benefits for employees of fire organizations in the Far North were established in 1923, during the era of the beginning of economic development of remote northern territories. The only reason for receiving benefits was a business trip to work in remote areas. The analysis of the content and volume of benefits for employees of fire organizations in the Far North in the 20s of the XX century was carried out. The positions of fire protection workers who are entitled to additional benefits have been established. The conclusion is made about the special social significance of some intangible benefits.
