A Hybrid Micro-Grid Connected With Residential Load For V2G As Mobile Power System
A hybrid microgrid system connected with residential loads for V2G as a mobile power illustrates that even if the generating capacity is less than the load demand, charged electric vehicles that are not in use can be utilized as a power source to meet the load demand during peak hours through the Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) system. The V2G system acts as a mobile power system for the peak load demand duration. For this a hybrid generation is being taken which includes a small thermal power plant for maintaining synchronization and solar PV and wind farm are connected as distributed generation in a Micro-Grid. When load demand increases on a certain time period of the day and goes beyond the generating capacity, V2G system serves as a contributor to the system where charged EVs starts supplying power back to the grid. This method is now being tested on a hybrid microgrid system.
