The influence of talent management on innovativeness performance: A moderated mediation model.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine the organisational culture (OC) and organisational commitment (OCT) as moderator and mediator in the relationship between talent management (TM) and innovativeness performance (IP) in the universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan. By employing the SPSS PROCESS Model 7 for moderated mediation, data was gathered from 378 academic members at KP universities. The study's findings revealed that OCT partially mediates the relationship between TM and IP, but OC significantly moderates the interaction between TM and OCT. Furthermore, in the case of moderated mediation, the OC significantly moderated the interaction between TM and IP via OCT. The study's conclusions contend that the interaction of organisational culture, organisational commitment, and talent management is essential to boosting innovative performance and preserving competitiveness in a quickly changing academic environment, which has helped KP universities to overcome their talent shortage. Additionally, the study's findings showed that universities are becoming centers of innovation, propelling advancement across a range of disciplines and making a substantial contribution to the expansion of knowledge and society at large. The study's theoretical and practical implications are thoroughly investigated. Keywords: Talent management, Organizational culture, Organizational Commitment, Innovativeness Performance.
