Research and Application of Azimuthal Electromagnetic Wave LWD Instrument
Azimuthal electromagnetic wave logging while drilling(LWD) is an important logging technique in modern oil and gas exploration. By measuring the electromagnetic wave response of the formation in real-time during the drilling process, parameters such as resistivity of the formation can be obtained, and key data such as porosity and oil saturation can be calculated, providing scientific basis for the evaluation and development of oil and gas reservoirs. This article will take the AWRT instrument as an example to explore in detail the principle, technical characteristics, application scope, and future development direction of the azimuthal electromagnetic wave logging instrument while drilling.
