Automatic Control Design and Stability Analysis of Ocean Cement Ash Supply System

The cement supply system is affected by gas-solid two-phase flow. There are some problems in the ash supply process, such as large fluctuation of cement ash weight, unstable ash supply and inability to monitor the cement ash flow, which affect the density of cement slurry in the slurry mixing process. According to the above problems, the automatic ash supply experiment system based on Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) controller is designed to analyze the influence of tank pressure and valve opening on ash conveying rate and fluctuation of the law, use single loop PID control algorithm to control the amount of ash tank pressure and constant pressure tank, solve the fluctuation of weight signal in the high frequency vibration system, calculate the weight change of the constant pressure tank and cement ash receiving tank in each cycle, and indirectly measure and calculate the ash conveying rate of constant pressure tank. The experimental results show that the tank pressure and valve opening can effectively improve the stability of ash supply in a reasonable interval, The minimum average volatility is at the tank pressure of 30 psi and the valve opening of 75%, the results effectively improve the automatic control of the ash supply system in cementing operation, and can provide guidance for the ash supply experiment under different offshore conditions.
