Identifying the primary factors influencing energy consumption in the water injection system through the use of fuzzy logic
To enhance and upgrade the current water injection systems in domestic oil fields, it is crucial to pinpoint the key factors that influence the energy consumption of these systems. This study introduces an approach utilizing the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to identify these critical factors. Initially, the energy flow within the water injection system is defined, and energy losses are segmented into three categories: pump unit loss, pipeline loss, and valve loss. Following this, the factors contributing to these three categories of energy losses are comprehensively analyzed, resulting in the creation of a hierarchical model of the factors impacting the energy consumption of the water injection system. By employing FAHP, this study proposes a method to ascertain the primary controlling factors of energy consumption in the water injection system through the development of the energy loss membership function and a fuzzy complementary matrix, ultimately calculating the overall weight values of each influencing factor. Empirical studies demonstrate that by constructing the hierarchical model of energy consumption factors and applying FAHP, the main controlling factors of energy consumption in the water injection system can be effectively identified, thus providing a scientific foundation for the optimization and enhancement of the water injection system.
