Receiver Design for Non-orthogonal Superimposed Pilot and Data in MIMO System
This letter presents the application of the non-orthogonal superimposed pilot and data scheme to multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. This scheme eliminates the need for separate pilot transmission, thereby increasing transmission capacity. In contrast to traditional methods, at the receiver, we design SeResNet aiming to directly recover the transmitted bit data using neural networks from received signal, without the need for complex steps such as channel estimation and equalization. The application of the channel attention mechanism in SeResNet improves the ability to recover data at each layer in MIMO systems Extensive simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness of this scheme, which demonstrates an approximate increase in transmission capacity of 9.52%. Moreover, the developed network showcases outstanding performance in symbol detection.
