A method of detecting the cross-section of ring components based on line structured light
A method based on line structured light is proposed to measure the cross-sectional profile of large shaped ring components after traditional machining. Design the line structured light scanning process based on the structural characteristics of the ring section, so that the line structured light scanner with small range and high accuracy can be effectively applied to scan the profile of large ring sections. Perform SOR denoising, FPFH registration, and ICP registration on the scanned point cloud to obtain complete contour point cloud data of the ring section. A single contour point cloud feature point recognition method is proposed, which uses the least squares method to recognize circular arc segments and the slope threshold method to recognize straight line segments, reducing the difficulty of point cloud feature recognition. The experimental results demonstrate that this method controls the accuracy of contour measurement within ± 0.8mm, and the measurement accuracy, stability, and precision exceed traditional measurement methods.
