The Regulation of Nitric Oxide Concentration in Air Plasma and Spectral Analysis
As the applications of nitric oxide (NO) continue to expand, research on nitric oxide has increasingly garnered attention. Air plasma technology, characterized by its high efficiency and eco-friendliness, has become an important approach to studying NO generation. Air plasma is generated using a high-voltage alternating current power supply, followed by the collection of nitric oxide concentration data and spectral analysis. The research results indicate that higher voltage leads to increased emission spectra and NO concentration, with optimal results achieved at 9 kV. The optimal electrode spacing is 3 mm, which helps maintain the stability of arc discharge and increase NO generation. Excessive gas flow rates reduce NO generation efficiency, while moderate flow rates enhance the residence time of reactants, thereby increasing NO yield.
